Provide Youth with Park Work Experience with the Santa Monica Mountains Fund: NPS and SMMF will work together to plan, coordinate, and implement an integrated youth work-experience program. Both parties will work together to recruit and hire underserved diverse youth from Oxnard and Los Angeles and provide direction on park projects to be accomplished by youth. NPS and SMMF are committed to providing diverse youth with a safe and enjoyable introductory outdoor work experience while presenting educational components for each hands-on training work experience.
