Eligible Applicants This announcement is only for international and domestic conferences planned to occur within the date range of August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010. (See section IV.6 Other Submission Requirements for guidance on cycle selection.) Applicants can submit a single application for a single conference for a one year project period. Awards may be combined for the Global conference, regional conferences, the EIS International Night. The application is to be submitted under only one topic area of programmatic interest from those listed in Attachment I. Demonstrated success in managing and conducting international and global conferences is required with at least 3-4 years of experience in co-sponsoring these conferences with the Ministries of Health and Governments. Applicants should have prior relationships and collaborations with the international community and Ministries of Health of countries in support of Public Health Conferences and with Field Epidemiology network programs in countries. Eligible applicants that can apply for this funding opportunity are listed below (certain of the listed eligible institutions must be non-profit, e.g. hospitals, colleges, universities, research institutions):
