Grant Description
This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) solicits research grant applications from organizations proposing to study right ventricular (RV) function/dysfunction and disease. Utilizing a multidisciplinary and collaborative team approach, this program will foster research which will lead to improved diagnostics and therapeutics for RV disease, particularly in the setting of lung vascular disease. Human subjects research (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/policy/hs/) must be proposed and applicants are strongly encouraged to use the multiple principal investigator approach to study the right ventricular-pulmonary vascular axis.
