Quality Health Initiative: USAID/Mozambique intends to award a USD39 million, five-year cooperative agreement to support the Government of the Republic of Mozambique (GRM) to improve maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH) outcomes by increasing the productivity and efficiency of facility-based care, with a focus on improving client satisfaction and outcomes. This will be achieved by assisting the province of Nampula to establish itself as a model province for improving provision and increasing utilization of high-quality, high-impact, gender-responsive, patient-centered MNCH health services in a sustainable manner; and supporting the central Ministry of Health (MOH) to incorporate the lessons learned from Nampula into a national system for Quality Improvement.
