- Grant Description
- A unit of the National Landscape Conservation System, the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area (YHONA) is dominated by the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, a National Historic Register structure. This project will enhance the interpretive and educational program at the YHONA by informing visitors about the natural and cultural resources on BLM managed and partnered lands and waters. In addition, this project will use American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funds to promote economic recovery; assist those most impacted by the recession; provide investment in environmental protection, and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits.
