This is a Notice of Intent to award to the Student Conservation Association the Trail Rehabilitation Activities Along Miry Ridge Trail at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This Agreement was competed in accordance with internal NPS procedures.
Grant Description
RECOVERY ACT-Conduct Trail Rehabilitation Activities Along Miry Ridge Trail: Project work will include replacement of damaged waterbars, removal of trail sloughing, major trail corridor brushing, turnpiking of west areas, rock removal from trail corridor, tree removal, and repair of trail treadway damage. This project work supports and stimulates work, education and training opportunities for young adults through collaborative participation in trail rehabilitation within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
