RFA - Zimbabwe Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children (OVC) Project: The United States Agency for International Development in Zimbabwe (USAID/Zimbabwe) is seeking applications from international, regional, local Zimbabwean non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and/or consortia comprised of any combination of the aforementioned organizations to manage a new five-year bilateral cooperative agreement for orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) The overall goal of the new project is to mitigate the impact of HIV and AIDS on Zimbabwe's children by enhancing the sustainability of care and support services for OVC. This is to be accomplished by strengthening the capacity of: (1) Communities and local service providers to support vulnerable families and children (2) Vulnerable households to care for children (3) The public sector social service system to support vulnerable families and children.
