Reclamation's Bay Delta Restoration Program: Agricultural Water Conservation and Efficiency Grants: The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for a Grant/Cooperative Agreement pursuant to the authority of Section 9504(a) of the Secure Water Act, Subtitle F of Title IX of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, P.L. 111-11(42 USC 10364). The principal feature of the work is to invite Indian Tribes, irrigation districts, water districts and other organizations with water or power delivery authority to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on projects that save water, improve water management, create new supplies for agricultural irrigation, improve energy efficiency, and benefit endangered species. Projects should also increase the capability or success rate of on-farm water conservation or water use efficiency projects that can be undertaken by farmers and ranchers through irrigation system improvements and irrigation efficiency enhancements. Period of Performance is from the date of issuance of the Agreement to approximately September 30, 2014. FOA R12AF20003 will be posted on the GRANTS.GOV web site, at www.grants.gov, on or about January 1, 2012. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or about March 15, 2012. The FOA must be downloaded at the above web site. No paper copy of this announcement will be distributed. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applied to this FOA. Prospective recipients must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
