Through education, training, information support, clinical consultation and technical assistance, the AETC program develops and sustains HIV clinical care expertise, increasing the number of direct care clinical providers who are competent and willing to clinically manage HIV infected patients. Training focus is on diagnosis and treatment of the disease, and its related health conditions.
