Regional Geographic Initiative (RGI): U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 10 seeks proposals for projects that use integrated, collaborative, or community-based approaches to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or prevent pollution by: 1) promoting the availability of renewable energy; 2) promoting the efficient use of existing energy sources; or 3) sequestering carbon. Applicants are encouraged to consider projects that incorporate smaller grants to community-based groups.
