The U.S. Embassy Kathmandu announces an open competition for organizations interested in submitting proposals to organize a comprehensive Indo-Pacific Regional Model United Nations (MUN) conference. The conference will provide university level students from the Indo-Pacific region with skills and knowledge to become leaders in the region’s economic, political, and civic development.

Additional Information on Eligibility
ELIGILIBITY INFORMATION Eligible Applicants The following organizations are eligible to apply:  Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations Public educational institutions International Organizations and Governmental institutions Cost Sharing or Matching Applicants will be allowed to generate program income through the delegate registration and workshops to offset the total cost of organizing the year-long series of provincial MUNs leading up to the final MUN.  The U.S. Embassy also encourages projects that can use highly skilled volunteers as part of the cost-sharing. Other Eligibility Requirements In order to be eligible to receive an award, all organizations must have a unique entity identifier (Data Universal Numbering System/DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet), as well as a valid registration on www.SAM.gov.  Please see guidelines below for information on how to obtain these registrations.  The organization should be legally registered in Nepal.  Applicants with proven experiences in managing international youth conferences will be given a priority.
