Research on Mental Health Economics (R01): -Purpose. The NIMH invites high quality, public health relevant health economics research grant applications to develop more efficient and equitable mechanisms of financing mental health services. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will use the NIH Research Project Grant (R01), but applications under the NIH Small Research Grant Program (R03) and the NIMH Clinical Exploratory Grant Program (R34) are also sought. Applicants for the R03 should respond to PA-06-180 and applicants for the NIMH R34 should respond to PA-06-248. -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.
