- NIJ is seeking applications for funding to support research and evaluation of violence and victimization, including basic research on violence across the life-span, special topics in violence and victimization, and elder mistreatment. NIJ's Violence and Victimization Research Division serves to develop innovative solutions to the problems of violence and victimization through strategic planning, support for research and evaluation, and dissemination of research information to the field and public.
