- As justification for Single Source Determination, in accordance with Department of Interior Guidance (505 DM 2.14), USFWS Region 2 provides notice of its intent to make a single source award in the amount of $84,700 to the American Bird Conservancy for providing the personnel and associated office space/support necessary to coordinate, support and facilitate the activities of the Rio Grande Venture. The objective of the cooperative agreement with the American Bird Conservancy, a federally recognized non-profit corporation, is to support core staff and base program activities of the Rio Grande Joint Venture. The organization is willing to serve as employer of the joint venture staff; it already serves similar roles for two other joint ventures. This announcement is published as a Single Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of the Pre-Solicitation Notice is for informational purposes only.

- As justification for Single Source Determination, in accordance with Department of Interior Guidance (505 DM 2.14), USFWS Region 2 provides notice of its intent to make a single source award in the amount of $87,400 to the American Bird Conservancy for providing the personnel and associated office space/support necessary to coordinate, support and facilitate the activities of the Rio Grande Joint Venture. Established in 2006, the Rio Grande Joint Venture, a migratory bird habitat conservation partnership, is directed by a Management Board that ensures that commitment and support is maintained to achieve the joint venture's goals and objectives. The Management Board has agreed that the American Bird Conservancy represents the best organization to host the Rio Grande Joint Venture staff. The cooperative agreement with the American Bird Conservancy is intended to facilitate effective and efficient coordination of migratory bird habitat conservation efforts in the Rio Grande Joint Venture region.
