Riparian Habitat Lower Tijuana Slough: Develop a pre-restoration plan that identifies ways to provide enhanced natural resource conditions through the restoration of riparian habitats. Target habitats would be intended to provide support for sensitive, threatened and endangered species, as well as provide improved ecosystem structure and function within the Tijuana River floodplain. Planning activity will include, but not be limited to, the following tasks:
Compile, analyze, and organize existing data along with the general field observations in order to identify and evaluate potential restoration sites, needs, and potential challenges.
Create a restoration plan with proposed species mix, planting densities, and site layout maps, . Identify temporary irrigation water sources and irrigation system design
Provide an example of post-implementation operations and management and biological monitoring plan, Develop site-specific biological target deliverables , Identify required budget resources, materials, timeline, management practices, and other inputs required to implement a successful habitat restoration project
