STEM Grant 2011: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD, Education Outreach Program offers an opportunity for schools with formal Education Partnership Agreements (EPAs) in place with the organization to submit an application for the 2011 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education Grants Program. These competitive grants are designed to increase innovation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs only for students grades 412 in St. Marys, Charles and Calvert Counties in Southern Maryland. Funding opportunities associated with this grant are in the following categories: Costs associated with a field trip to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station to reinforce STEM curriculum. Includes transportation, substitute teacher (if needed) and other associated costs. Costs associated with teacher participation in a STEM education program or conference.
