- Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Anadromous Fish Restoration Program to complete this pilot Sacramento River Redd Dewatering Assessment. The funded project will include surveys to determine the times of year and locations that fall Chinook Salmon redds are dewatered on the mainstem Sacramento River in Northern California. The Sacramento River is the lead location for natural spawning of fall Chinook salmon in the Sacramento watershed.
