Sacramento River Small Screen Diversion: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to Family Water Alliance, under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(21). Estimated amount: $1,500,000.00. Reclamation proposes to provide financial assistance for the installation of small diversion fish screens on various diversions on the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers. The goal is to benefit threatened and endangered anadromous fish species by screening multiple sites that do not currently fit into the scope of work for the current Sacramento Valley/Delta Fish Screen Program (Family Water Alliance, Phase 7) grant. Screening the multiple sites would be extremely complimentary to current efforts to restore the salmon populations in the California Central Valley and the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. R10AS20028 for additional information.) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Questions concerning this announcement should be directed to Mary Sims/Grants Officer, by email at [email protected].
