- This funding opportunity will allow the U.S. Department of Homeland Securitys United States Fire administration to continue their partnership with the Safe Kids Worldwide organization to reduce fire deaths and injuries among children. The Safe Kids Worldwide organization is asked to submit an application that addresses how to: improve fire safety awareness, provide education in fire safety techniques, and provide fire safety equipment to the targeted population. The applicant should also address the testing and implementation of new pathways for reaching this population and how they propose to provide expanded and improved technical assistance to the coalitions.
