- Grant Description
- The Hatt Dam and Reservoir is located on BLM-administered lands. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, in conjunction with the BLM and the Natural Resources Conservation Service, are investigating modifying the dam to allow bluehead suckers and other sensitive fish to migrate up the San Rafael River, upstream of the Hatt Reservoir Dam. Information is needed on the depth of siltation behind the dam, the location of bedrock beneath the dam, the condition and type of bedrock, and the continuity of the bedrock. This information would be used by the UDWR in designing the fish passage modifications to the dam.
