Santa Clara River ARCO oil spill settlement restoration implementation: The project is the funding of the Totlcom acquisition, along with several other partners, in order to protect lands along the Santa Clara River and to ultimately restore the natural floodplain of the river. Through land protection and restoration, the injuries resulting from the ARCO oil spill can be better made whole. The Totlcom acquisition will add to previous acquisitions held by The Nature Conservancy resulting in significant protection of the Santa Clara River.
