Schofield Barracks Vegetation Mgmt & Berm Maint Range Division Hawaii, Integrated Training Area Management: Schofield Barracks Vegetation Management and Berm Maintenance Range Division Hawaii, Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM)The ITAM Program requires vegetation management and berm maintenance on the Island of Oahu at Schofield Barracks (SB), South Range (SR), East Range (ER), Kahuku Training Area (KTA), Dillingham Training Area (DTA), and Kawailoa (KAW) on live fire range lands, drop zones, and roadsides/firebreaks. Management consists of maintaining grass to specified heights for environmental and physical safety to include encroaching shrubs and trees and the management of grass, shrubs, and trees along roadsides. Vegetation management also includes revegetating bare ground areas to establish sustainable ground cover. Berm maintenance consists of rebuilding berms within the live fire range lands.
