Science Support to Assist the Desert LCC Science Working Group and Landscape Conservation Design Teams: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award one single source financial assistance agreement as authorized by 505 DM 2.14 (B) to The University of Arizona. The criterion for utilizing a single source financial agreement is ¿Continuation.¿ The activity to be funded is necessary for the satisfactory completion of, and is a continuation of, an activity currently funded by USFWS Region 2, Science Applications, and holding a competition would have a significant adverse effect on continuing or completing the activity. The University of Arizona has been significantly involved in the development of ecological indicators and Landscape Conservation Design Core and Coordinating teams for over a year.
