Seasonal Contributions to Breeding in Sage-Grouse: The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge will work with the cooperator to address key uncertainties about the values of different seasonal habitat used by Greater sage-grouse in mountainous sagebrush ecosystems of Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and adjacent lands. This project occurs both on and off National Wildlife Refuge lands. We will create a species distribution model to describe sagegrouse winter and summer habitats. Specific deliverables will include a species distribution model that accounts for different management actions along with environmental variation on Red Rock Lakes NWR, southwest Montana, and southeast Idaho. Results will be summarized in a scientific peer review publication no later than fall of 2018.
