Secure Our Schools: If your agency received notification of the availability of funding for the SOS program in early May via e-mail or letter, the deadline for your agency remains the original deadline of June 15, 2007. The COPS Office will only accept applications under the revised deadline for agencies that received the second notice of funding availability. If your agency submitted an application under the original deadline, we will not accept a revised application under the new deadline. If your agency intended to submit an application under the original deadline but delayed doing so after receiving the notification that the deadline had been extended, you may appeal to have your application considered.
