Only owners of eligible multifamily assisted housing, as defined in paragraph III.A.2 of this NOFA may apply. Eligible applicant refers to the mortgagor entity, single asset mortgagor, single purpose ownership entity, or other corporate entity that directly owns eligible assisted housing (as defined in paragraph III.A.2 of the NOFA). A Managing General Partner in a partnership entity and property management companies are not considered “eligible applicants”. All owners who are party to a joint application must meet this definition as well as all other eligibility criteria required of the lead applicant.
