Additional Information on Eligibility
This BAA is open to ALL responsible sources. In addition to the eligible applicants listed above, offerors may include single entities or teams from academia, private sector organizations, Government laboratories, and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs), including Department of Energy National Laboratories and Centers.
Grant Description
This BAA solicits proposals that focus upon developing an advanced capability that detect the following: military explosives, commercial explosives, homemade explosives and explosive precursors. In addition, the capability should detect metallic weapons or parts of metallic weapons on personnel passing through a checkpoint all without requiring the passenger personnel to remove their footwear. The effort for the BAA is divided into two principal areas: a.) Tasks (Programmatic Events/Activities/Achievements) and b.) Deliverables (Products).
