Silver State Trail System and Chief Mountain Area Plan Initiative: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The Silver State Trail, Lincoln County, Nevada, is the first congressionally designated OHV trail in the country that encompasses 270 miles of new trail. This agreement will continue the off-highway vehicle strategy project initiated with the Great Basin Institute in 2006. This is a cooperative effort to develop and enhance partnerships (including the public, local and state entities) for long term sustainable Silver State Trail and adjacent vehicle use areas.
