- Dependant upon funding availability. Provide assistance to developing and implementing a study to document the small mammal community and their affinities for thes habitats. These studies are improtnat for Refuge planning in that they document the exisiting community and indicate the use of habitat by a dominant wildlife community as well as the success of restoration efforts in maintaining/restoring the native wildilfe community or suggesting alternative managment strategies. This project will provide much needed support to a small mammal investigation of grasslands and vernal pool habitats being conducted by University researches.
