Southesat Endangered Species FY07: The Endangered Species Program of the Southeast Region provides financial assistance on a competitive basis to educators, researchers, state agencies, private businesses, individuals and other partners to secure scientific information about endangered, threated or candidate species, to aid in the recovery of these species, to avert listing of species pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, and to help conserve the ecosystems upon which these species depend.
