State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project: The State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project furthers DOJ's mission by providing training and technical assistance to state advisory groups (SAGs) appointed under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP Act) 1974, as amended. Title II Part B authorizes the OJJDP Administrator to provide training and technical assistance resources to states, U.S. territories, Federally-recognized tribal governments, and units of local government to support their justice systems response to juvenile delinquency.
