Grant Description
SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) and Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) announce the availability of funds to develop and enhance the infrastructure of States and their treatment service systems to increase the capacity to provide accessible, effective, comprehensive, coordinated/integrated, and evidence-based treatment services to persons with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders, and their families. COSIG provides funding to the States to develop or enhance their infrastructure to increase their capacity to provide accessible, effective, comprehensive, coordinated/integrated, and evidence-based treatment services to persons with co-occurring substance abuse and mental disorders. COSIG also provides an opportunity to participate in an evaluation of the feasibility, validity and reliability of the proposed co-occurring performance measures for the future Performance Partnership Grants (PPGs), and to participate in a national evaluation of the COSIG program.
