Stream Flow Monitoring: The Kalispel Tribe of Indians (Kalispel Reservation’s Natural Resources Department (KNRD)) operates about 50 water quality monitoring sites in and around the Kalispel Indian Reservation. This water resources monitoring program allows the KNRD to understand changes in the quantity and quality of water within the Kalispel ceded lands and how it affects the Tribe's aquatic resources and restoration programs. Data collected from this monitoring effort can be used by the Tribe to assist the Tribe’s aquatic resources and restoration programs. It is the Bureau of Reclamation’s intent to provide financial assistance to the Tribe to continue this water resources monitoring effort in years 2014 through 2017.
