Strengthening Political Landscape (SPL) in Bangladesh: USAID/Bangladesh seeks to invest in people, networks and institutions that will be critical to making democracy in Bangladesh more transparent, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the country.
The SPL activity will support activities that aim to achieve the following goals:
• Political party activists and politically active citizens have the skills and knowledge to engage in decision making and gradually internalize inclusion and best practices into party structures at all levels;
• Political party activists and politically active citizens have the skills to engage constructively to mitigate the effects of conflict.
The ceiling for this program is $ 14,000,000. The activity will be jointly funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID).
