Grant Description
CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Study Effect of West Nile Virus Infection on Outcomes of Pregnancy in Humans.? Approximately $350,000 will be available in fiscal year 2004 to fund one award. The purpose of the program is to determine whether West Nile Virus (WNV) infection of pregnant women has adverse effects on the outcomes of pregnancy and to measure and describe the effects, if any, on the health of children born to women who were infected with WNV during their pregnancy. The estimated funding date is September 01, 2004.
