Grant Description
NOTE: Please read the Master Funding Opportunity Announcement (attached below) for complete details on evaluation criteria and application preparation instructions. SUB-AREA OF INTEREST: 4C Fuel Reforming Technology for Logistic Fuel Applications Applications are sought for the development of alternative or novel reforming concepts for the improved processing of logistic fuel. Various military and aerospace applications will require the use of jet or logistic fuels containing much higher levels of sulfur (maximum of 3,000ppm) than commercial-grade diesel fuel. Consequently, alternative catalysts and/or processes may be needed to remove the sulfur or pre-treat the fuel before the final reforming step. Compact process schemes for on-board reformation are required for these applications.
