Only the Ministry of Health (MOH), under the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland may apply for this funding opportunity. As the government lead ministry responsible for the delivery of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services, the MOH is a primary recipient of funds for HIV/AIDS prevention care and treatment activities. Through past collaboration with CDC, the MOH has worked to strengthen its management structure and systems to assure its ability, both in terms of fiscal accountability and managerial leadership, to effectively administer external funding for HIV/AIDS programs. This agreement builds upon the past CDC-MOH collaboration by increasing the capacity of the MOH to monitor and continually improve the quality of health services in Swaziland through nationally-owned quality assurance (QA) and accreditation programs.
