Supporting Her Empowerment via Digital Tools: NIO-PAS seeks proposals for a project entitled “Supporting Her Empowerment via Digital Tools.” Based on funding availability, this project will build capacity of women artisans by harnessing their entrepreneurial and innovative spirits and empowering them with digital tools to grow further. Under this program, the grantee will organize and implement three 2-day workshops on “Digital Strategies for Business” in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh; Jaipur, Rajasthan; and Ludhiana, Punjab for a minimum of ten and a maximum of 15 CSO/NGO representatives in each program city. The workshops should include hands-on training that will teach participants in each city how to use commercially-available technology to sell art and/or related products online. The workshops should also include a “train-the-trainer” teaching methodology to allow participants to share their new skills with women artisans from far-flung and rural areas, and within their communities.
