Supporting Local Indigenous Faith-Based Partners in Providing High Quality HIV Care, Prevention and Treatment Services and Improving Linkage and Retention in the Republic of Guyana under the President's Emergency Plan: The purpose of this FOA in Guyana is to provide technical assistance and funding to local indigenous organizations to improve access to quality Antiretroviral therapy (ART) clinical services. Activities will focus on delivering tailored services for key populations, improving linkage to care, retention on ART and will ensure sustainable service delivery within faith based-affiliated sites in Guyana. These objectives will be achieved through increased engagement between clinical teams and community care/ support organizations, continuous quality improvement activities for clinical management, and a cyclical approach to collecting key population risk factor and other sensitive data. Piloting of strategies and service delivery models to improve ART coverage will be prioritized at these sites. These will include earlier ART initiation (test and start) and patient classification to reduce the frequency of clinic/pharmacy visits and increase the number of patients served at these sites.
