T4 Translation Research Capacity Building Initiative in Low Income Countries (TREIN) (U24): The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to solicit applications that propose to build in-country capacity through the creation of a trans-disciplinary investigative team to guide the conduct of late-stage translation phase 4 research (T4TR) in low income countries (as defined by The World Bank) through skills development programming, needs assessment, and capacity building. Studies will be required to address chronic non-communicable heart, lung, blood and sleep diseases and disorders in low income countries.
