Grant Description
NRCS is seeking the assistance of a contract employee to service the needs of Farm Bill programs in the Riverton, Wyoming, field office for 40 hours per week for approximately six months. The majority of work will be under the Environmental Quality Incentives Pgoram. Contractor will serve under the leadership of the District Conservationist for the Riverton Field Office. Contractor will be responsible for assisting NRCS in providing technical assistance necessary to develop and implement conservation programs. Main duties will include: * Take applications for Farm Bill Programs * Gather data necessary to rank program applications * Assemble resource data such as existing resource conditions, soils maps, and irrigation water rights. * Develop conservation plans * Gather and assemble data for EQIP or other program contracts * Do follow-up nad construction checks on funded Farm Bill projects.
