Technical Assistance Implement NRCS Conservation Programs: Applicant(s) will be responsible for providing individuals to support a variety of NRCS Farm Bill conservation programs. The technical tasks will generally consist of assisting others, collecting data, modifying or preparing limited design adaptations, applying accepted conservation practices, preparing reports, contract planning, contract modification support, contract status reviews, project documentation and payment application support , coordinating and communicating with conservationists, engineers, customers and other NRCS personnel and partners. The objective of the agreement is to provide technical assistance to producers in planning, surveying, designing, layout, construction inspections and checkout of conservation practices associated with installation of conservation systems. Applicants will be required to provide the services of a minimum of one employee per District Conservationist Administrative Area (EAST ? Hartington, Stanton, Wahoo, Omaha, York, Lincoln, Tecumseh, Beatrice, Nelson; WEST ? Spencer, Ord, Grand Island, Holdrege, Alma, Curtis, Imperial, North Platte, Thedford, Valentine, Chadron, Scottsbluff, Sidney). One employee equals approximately 1800 actual productive hours per year, unless otherwise negotiated. Work performed will be in accordance with the practice standards in the NRCS Field Office Technical Guide.
