Technical Assistance for Textile Sector Pollution Prevention: Specifically, this document is to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) through an open competition for EPA funds. The anticipated total award for the one-year period of performance is $50,000. EPA Has agreed to provide technical assistance in support of negotiations and implementation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and of Trade and Investment Framework Agreements (TIFAs between the United States and countries of the Middle East and North African region. The purpose of the cooperative agreement is to provide technical assistance and capacity building to the Centre Morcain de Production Propre (Moroccan Cleaner Production Center - CMPP) and the Center Technique du Textile - Habillement (Technical Center for Textiles - Clothing - CTTH) on environmental auditing, pollution prevention and cleaner production, and environmental management systems (EMS) for the textile sector in Morocco.
