- Grant Description
- NEH supports television documentary programs or historical dramatizations that address significant figures, events, or developments in the humanities and draw their content from humanities scholarship. Projects must be intended for national distribution during prime time hours, whether on public television, commercial television, or cable networks. Support is also available for DVDs and websites that expand the content of the television program. To ensure that the humanities themes and questions are well conceived, projects should use a team of scholars who are from major fields relevant to the subject matter and have diverse perspectives and approaches.
