The Orianne Society: THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to to The Orianne Society. A single source award will be used because: The Orianne Society has studied the Eastern Indigo Snake since 1992, and have conducted numerous studies in Georgia and Florida pertinent to the species status and conservation, spatial ecology, survey methods, reintroduction methods, genetics, prey habits, and distribution, among other research topics.
