This second-stage project complements and builds on the successful and ongoing Alaska Partnership Program which built key partnership arrangements over the past two years, as well as other complementary USAID programs including Local Governance. This second stage will strengthen existing partnerships between the RFE and Alaska as well as allow the targeted municipalities to concentrate their efforts on issues of effective governance highlighted in the partnership program.
