The USAID/Afghanistan Development Innovation Accelerator: This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeks opportunities to co-create, co-design, and collaborate in basic and applied research to incorporate Science, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (STIP) into the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Afghanistan Mission (USAID/Afghanistan) portfolio. USAID/Afghanistan invites organizations and companies to participate with USAID through co-creation, co-design, co-investment and collaboration in response to a Critical Development Challenge Addendum issued under this BAA, as described below, to provide innovations and technologies that further USAID/Afghanistan’s development objectives. These innovations and technologies will further the U.S. Government’s commitment to address critical development challenges in Afghanistan.
