Tidal Parr Study: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to CA Department of Water Resources under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(1) and 3407(e). Estimated total amount of agreement is $750,000.00. Reclamation is providing $250,000.00 in Fiscal Year 2018. The objectives of the project are to: Objective #1: Expand, and execute, a planned study of juvenile salmon in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta and Suisun Bay region. The study will be conducted at sampling locations and using methods with a focus on restored and soon-to-be-restored marsh location to gain better understanding the impact to juvenile salmonid distribution, abundance, and growth. Objective #2: Update the CVPIA Science Integration Team salmon life-cycle models and structured decision making models with quantitative information from this study to assist in restoration project prioritization and design. (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. BOR-MP-18-N030 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
