- Grant Description
- Purpose: This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is an initiative of the NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience Research (http://neuroscienceblueprint.nih.gov), a trans-NIH partnership to accelerate neuroscience research. Sixteen Institutes and Centers (ICs) are participating in the Neuroscience Blueprint. Awards will be administered by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on behalf of the Neuroscience Blueprint. This FOA will support integrated research education and research training programs that provide interdisciplinary training in basic neuroscience and the theoretical and technological approaches of computational neuroscience. Mechanism of Support: This FOA will use the T90 mechanism that includes linked research education and research training programs. Applicants will submit a single unified grant application and if selected for funding, two separate awards will be issued, an R90-research education award and a T90-research training award, based on distinct research education and research training-related funding authorities.
