Treatment for Homeless Supplements: Under the authority of Section 506 of the Public Health Service Act, as amended, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announces the availability of funds to expand/enhance grant activities funded under the Development of Comprehensive Drug/Alcohol and Mental Health Treatment Systems for Persons Who are Homeless grant announcement. The purpose of this program supplement is to enable current grantees to expand and strengthen their treatment services for chronically homeless persons with substance abuse disorders, mental illnesses, or co-occurring substance abuse disorders and mental illnesses. The purpose of the Treatment for Homeless grant supplements is to link treatment services with housing programs and other needed services (e.g., primary care, employment, veterans).
